Dave Vetter doesn't know where he is. Born in Edinburgh to itinerant medics, he grew up in Wales and spent 18 years working in Asia as a journalist, editor and teacher. He holds a BA in archaeology and an MA distinction in international journalism from Cardiff University.

A devoted artist and photographer, keen cook and failed musician, Dave maintains an unhealthy obsession with climate research, sustainability, culture, travel and tech. He is currently attempting to understand the concept of 华夏. Other things he loves include dogs, weightlifting and being outdoors.
